Concerts begin at 8.45pm

The unexpected arrival of a double bass into the life of Gemma Abrié, almost ten years ago, marked her artistic career. Some years later, the Barcelona singer began studying double bass with the maestro Horacio Fumero, and shortly after she adopted this instrument as companion to her musical expression. She took part in several projects, like the female trio WoM, with Clara Luna and Laia Fortià, or a double bass duet with Miquel Àngel Cordero. Abrié presents a concert based on the solo format, where she intends to show her most honest and intimate side as a performer, with voice and emotion as the backbone elements of her artistic expression.
