One more year, the Summer Nights at la Pedrera festival devotes a weekend to the UnderPool record label. UnderPool, based in Barcelona, records and publishes a lot of works by a new generation of highly talented musicians, an exceptionally productive and restless generation that has deservedly earned the recognition from both the critics and the audience.

The Quartet Tronik is the project lead by the brilliant pianist Toni Saigi, who will be presenting his new album, La Prinsire de la Sal, recently published by the UnderPool label. In this work, we can appreciate the importance of the 50s and 60s jazz in his music, but also the influence of contemporary composers and musicians, with whom he shares the current Barcelona jazz scene.
