How does the combo ticket work?
When you book, you’ll have to choose the date and time to visit the “Art in Stone” exhibition at La Pedrera.
You’ll get an email with your ticket to La Pedrera with the date and time you chose, which is also your ticket for the “MiróMatisse. Beyond the Images” exhibition at Fundació Joan Miró, which is on through 9 February 2025.
Remember, to keep your ticket, as you will need it to enter both museums. Please note, Fundació Joan Miró will be closed on 25 and 26 December 2024, and 1 January 2025. On Monday 6 January, the museum will be open from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

“MiróMatisse” exhibition
At Fundació Joan Miró, you can delve into en “MiróMatisse. Beyond the Images”, an exhibition curated by Rémi Labrusse that explores the deep, lasting relationship between Joan Miró and Henri Matisse. Despite belonging to different generations and art movements, the exhibition reveals how these two artists shared a critical view of the Western tradition of images, which fuelled a mutual admiration that enriched their works. “Art in Stone” exhibition
Additionally, at La Pedrera, “Art in Stone” invites you to explore the crucial role stone played in the evolution of modern sculpture. Curated by Penelope Curtis, the exhibition features over 80 pieces by 8 emblematic sculptors —Hans Arp, Louise Bourgeois, Eduardo Chillida, Naum Gabo, Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore, Isamu Noguchi and Jorge Oteiza — who revolutionised direct carving, creating unique abstract pieces that generate a dialogue with Antoni Gaudí’s emblematic architecture around them.
