Admission tickets

No, it is not essential, but it is advisable as you avoid waiting in possible queues or at the ticket office, as well as handling fees. You can buy admission tickets to La Pedrera online through our official website.

Yes, students on regulated courses have discount (by presenting a valid student’s card, including an international card, or confirmation of enrolment). The price is €19

There are also discounts for people with disabilities (by presenting a card accrediting this); people over the age of 65 and people who live in Catalonia.

If your level of disability is more than 33%, you are entitled to a reduced admission rate of €19 for La Pedrera Essential, the day visit (online purchases). If your disability level is equal to or exceeds 65% or you credit the need of a companion, there is no charge for this companion’s admission. This free admission can be collected at the ticket offices once documentation certifying your level of disability has been presented

To benefit from the special admission rates for residents in Catalonia, you must submit one of the following at the ticket offices to demonstrate that your address is in Catalonia: a valid national identity document (DNI or NIE), residence certificate, or Catalan health card.

Online ticket purchases

Yes. If you purchased your admission ticket to visit La Pedrera via our official website you can enter immediately without queuing at the ticket office. In addition, your ticket will be cheaper than if you had bought it at the ticket office.

Firstly, check to see they are not in your Spam folder. If you have not received them, please contact us by email at info@lapedrera.com and we will send you the tickets.

Remember that with tickets purchased online, you do not need to join a queue and will be able to enter immediately.

It is not strictly necessary to print tickets, as you can show your ticket with the QR code on the screen of any mobile device. Above all, remember that you pay a discounted rate if you buy your ticket online via our website.

Vouchers/discount cards can only be used when purchasing tickets at the La Pedrera ticket office. You cannot use them for online purchases.

Once the tickets have been purchased by the user, La Pedrera will not accept cancellations with a refund, but it will be possible to request a date change without surcharge for the reservation (as long as it is before the visit date), and the tickets have not been validated (that is, the visit has not been made).

In the event of rain, the "Warrior Rooftop" will be closed to visitors for safety reasons, and ticket refunds will not be given if the ticket has been validated. If your tour has not yet started, you will be able to rebook another date.

Usually, this is because of incorrect 3-D Secure answers. 3-D Secure is a method for your credit or debit card company to authenticate online purchases and prevent fraud. We have no control over this process, so if you encounter a problem, please contact your card issuer.

Visits

The least busy times in La Pedrera are early in the morning (between 9.00 and 10.00 am) and in the afternoons (after 4.00 pm). This means you can tour the building in greater comfort. Remember that the opening hours vary throughout the year. You can check the La Pedrera opening hours here.

Yes. Every group with ten or more people must book in advance. Bookings can be requested using the group booking form, by sending an email to grups@lapedrera.com or by calling 93 214 25 83 (between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm from Monday to Friday).

Yes. If you request it in advance, a guided tour can be arranged for groups that will include a visit to the same spaces as the tour of La Pedrera: Warrior Rooftop, the Butterfly Courtyard and the Flower Courtyard, the Tenants’ Apartment, the Whale Attic with the Gaudí exhibition and the Milà Family’s Apartment with the exhibition hall. The guided tour is available on request in a number of languages: Catalan, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. La Pedrera Essential tour is at your own pace. It includes a free audio guide and takes between an hour and an hour and a half.

Yes. The night-time tour is called La  Pedrera Night Experience. A different, exclusive tour allowing you to discover the various corners of the building surrounded by the magic of the night. La Pedrera has a well-structured educational programme with proposals suited to different levels and ages. It has classrooms and an in-house team of specialist professionals. You can check the entire range of educational activities at La Pedrera or make a booking by sending an email escoles@lapedrera.com.

You must leave the stroller at the entrance of La Pedrera to be able to visit of the building. It is recommended to do the visit with a baby carrier backpack to be able to access areas such as the roof. 

Services

Yes. The audio guide is included in the price of admission to La Pedrera Essential and La Pedrera Open Date. It gives information about the spaces visited and about the main characteristics of the building and of the architect, Antoni Gaudí as well as exclusive videos in some points of the visit of areas related to history and architecture. It is available in the following languages: Catalan, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

La Pedrera has a left-luggage room where you can leave anything you want in order to make your visit more comfortable (backpacks, suitcases, prams, etc.). There are also lifts to be able to move through the building, as well as toilets on the ground floor (between the Flower Courtyard in Passeig de Gràcia and the Butterfly Courtyard in Carrer Provença) and in the Tenants’ Apartment. 

In addition, La Pedrera has a cafeteria, El Café de La Pedrera, and the Laie bookshop (with access from the Tenants’ Apartment or ground floor) where you can purchase souvenirs of the building and other works by Gaudí.

Yes. Apart from the Roof-terrace, all the parts of the building open to visitors on the tour have been adapted to make them accessible to wheelchairs and there are no architectural barriers. Only the Roof-terrace and mezzanine is unsuited to wheelchairs because of the constant changes in level characteristic of Gaudí’s structure, but a platform has been erected at the exit from the lift, providing a sweeping view of the rooftop.
